Summary

David Copperfield's life had been full of ups and downs .When he was born, his great-aunt Betsey Trotwood left David and his mother because Betsey had been quite sure that David was going to be a girl. David's early childhood was very happy with his mother. However, Mr Murdstone married his mother and took away the peace and happy of their life. Mr Murdstone and his sister trapped David's mother like a caged bird and destroyed her finally. David was alone in the world .It felt as if his whole world had just been shattered. Luckily, when he was no where to go,  he found his great-aunt Betsey. Aunt Betsey loved him and treated him as her own child. David was overjoyed at his new life with Aunt Betsey. Then he went to school and lived with the Wickfields. However, he disliked Uriah Heep with no reason .It just that Uriah always made him uncomfortable.

Uriah made Mr Wickfield make a lot of mistakes and Mr Wickfield was gradually under his control .He not only had ruined Mr Wickfield but also cheated many people .David did everything in his power to dealt with Uriah and of course he made it finally .

I am moved by the story .David was a poor boy in his childhood. His mother died and almost everybody around him hated him. To my surprise, David never felt depressed .He was always optimistic and never gave up. I really admire how he faced the misfortune. Compared with him, we are happier than him. As far as I'm concerned, we should never be in low spirits. When we are faced with difficulties we should learn from David. It's important to remember that keeping optimistic is the best way to solve problems. The story also told me that we should be cautious to choose our friends .Don't make friends with someone who is a sugar coated like Uriah. A friend in need is a friend indeed .So we should learn to choose a friend who we can indeed rely on.

So, please be optimistic and enjoy your life.

David Copperfield was a particular boy, whose life was full of ups and downs. His father had died six months before he was born. He lived with his mother and their housekeeper Peggotty.

Even if he didn't live with his father, the early childhood was very happy.

However, everything changed a lot when his mother married Mr Murdstone who had black hair and a hard, cold, handsome face. David felt as if the air had been strangled out of him, because Mr Murdstone was a cruel father .What was worse, Miss Murdstone came to live with them, she didn't like David at all. They treated David and his mother badly. David's mother was totally in their power. In his opinion, they were vipers. So the only escape was to lose himself in the small collection of books his father had left for him. One day, David was banished to boarding school. At boarding school, many students laughed at him, but he met a good friend Steerforth who got along well with him and always taking after him .At school, he had a hard but meaningful life.

Unfortunately, his mother died and he felt the whole world having just been shattered, because he lose his well-loved people and became an orphan. Then he was forced to work at a warehouse. During the time, he found his great aunt, Miss Betsey Trotwood, He lived happily with her.

David went to work at a low firm. He met Urian Heep and Agnes.Urian Heep caused many problems but David resolved them. Then he married a beautiful young woman. Sadly, she died , but in time David became a successful writer and married Agnes. In a word, David had a challenge life, he had to face the difficult times. However, he never gave up and always worked hard to solve all the problems. He believed himself and though everything is possible. When he was in low spirits, he would think of his mother who used up every bit of his strength to him. So, he was full of energy to solve all the problems. Finally, he achieved a big success and lived a happy life. Compared with him, we are lucky to have a good life and we needn't worry about our living. I suppose as a student, we should work hard and never give up even if there are many difficulties. I believe, just try our best and we will achieve our goals and live a happier life.

David Copperfield

I have a happy family. My mother and my father love me very much, but I sometimes quarrel with them. After I read the book’ David Copperfield’, I find I have made too much mistakes. I always hurt the persons who love me. Now, I will tell you the story about the poor boy ‘David Copperfield’.

David was a boy who never saw his father who died six moths before David was born. He had a happy early childhood. But nothing could have prepared him for the awful news that was waiting for him. It was that his mother had married Mr Murdstone who was the kind of man that smothered all hope and happiness. He didn’t like David at all, so he always slapped David. In the school, Mr Creakle always whacked anyone who was in his way. After David became an orphan, Mr Murdston even made him work at a warehouse. How poor the boy was!

Luckily, David met his aunt Miss Betsey Trotwood, who later lived happily with him and gave him lots of love. When he worked at laws firm, he met Agnes who was kind and nice. They became friends. After that, he helped Agnes solve the problems caused by Heep and marries a beautiful young woman, Dora. Sadly, she died on one evening in late autumn and David fell into the deepest pit of despair. But he succeeded in his life by his hard-working. He became a successful man, and he married Agnes. He lived happily with his aunt and his wife. Who could have guessed that little David Copperfield would at last gain happiness?

In my opinion, David was a man who was brave, hard-working and clever. Though he experienced a lot of bad things, but he also achieved a lot. He had two good friends and a nice wife. When he was in trouble, he also got some help from others. I learn a lot from him. I know that I should be positive whatever I meet. Though not all of us are perfect, but we should try our best to get better.

David didn’t have a good family, but I have. I have all my friends around me and the encouragement and guidance of my family. At the point in my life, I can have done any or become anyone. I will try my best to best to achieve good grade which can make my parents happy. Maybe it is difficult for me to achieve the goal, but whatever happy to me, I will do all that I could. To be a winner, I need to give all I have and try my best.

In my study, the spirit like David is needed. Thinking this way gives me the motivation to work hard now. When I imagine my future, I see myself successful in my job and surrounded by my family. I hope I can have a friend like potty. A person like him is a real friend.

Life is beautiful, I will actively looking ahead.

When his mother is dead, David Copperfield is sent to London to work for Mr Quinion. He stays with Mr Micawber. Mr Micawber and his wife were very welcoming. But after a while they are going to move to Plymouth. He finds his great-aunt, Miss Betsey Trotwood, and lives a happier life with her.

David goes to work at a low firm where he meets Uriah Heep, who causes many problems, and Agnes, who became a good friend. David fells in love with Mr Spenlow’s daughter, Dora. Luckily, he finds Dora loves him, too. David resolves the problems caused by Heep and marries with Dora. Sadly, Dora dies after their first child died. Finally, David, becomes a successful writer and marries Agnes. As the saying goes “Adversity makes a man wise, not rich”

As far as I’m concerned, David is a very kind boy. Faced with the hard life, he is very optimistic and positive. He is always happy with life. He has never given off his dream.

This novel tells us that we should make our life hopeful. No matter what has happened to us, we shouldn’t give up. We can find happiness through many ways. And I know that “One good return deserves another”. So, we are supposed to be kind to others. Come on, everyone, let’s make our life more meaningful.

David Copperfield was written by Charles Dickens, who is generally considered to be the greatest English writer of the Victorian period.

The story tells a boy’s growth. David Copperfield lives with his mother and their housekeeper Peggotty. Peggotty is not pretty, but she is kind and loving, and David adores her as much as he adores his mother. He is very happy. When his mother marries a very cruel man, Mr Murdstone, who can smother all hope and happiness. David feels as if the air has been strangled out of him. David becomes very unfortunate and unhappy. He is sent away to boarding school. He meets his first friend, Steerforth, who betrays his friends through selfishness later. David’s mother dies and he is forced to work at a warehouse. Later, he finds his great-aunt, Miss Betsey Trotwood, who is a very kind woman, and David lives a happier life with her.

David lodges at Mr Wickfield’s house with Mr Wickfield and his daughter, Agnes, who became a good friend. At the same time, he meets Uriah Heep, who causes many problems. Luckily, with the help of Mr Micawber, David resolves the problems caused by Heep. He marries a beautiful young woman, Dora, who he thinks is the most beautiful creature in the world. Sadly, their first baby dies and Dora dies, too. His life is full of ups and downs. Luckily, the ending of the story is exciting. David becomes a successful writer and marries Agnes.

As far as I am concerned, I am attracted by the story. I like the main character David Copperfield. He is responsible and clever. He is full of courage. He can do anything what can make himself happy. What he has done is the symbol of the braveness. If I meet the same thing likes his, I think I will be disappointed, even I will die. He can hold his temper, but I don’t think I can be the kind of people like him. At last, David Copperfield lived, and he gain happiness.

The story tells us that a little person can also gain happiness. Of course, you must learn to give. Not only need you to give something, but also you need to give love. We must never give up, or we will have no chance to succeed.

David Copperfield's life is like a never-ending storm.

As he was a child, he had a happy early childhood. His father had died six months before he was born, but everyone around him loved him vevy much. However, when his mother married a cruel man who is called Mr Murdstone. His life changed at all. The poor boy was banished to boarding school. He made a lot of friends and lived happily there. Unfortunately, when his mother died, he was forced to work at a ware-house where he made a plan that he would find his great-aunt, Miss Trotwood. Then, he lived a happy life with her.

In our lives, we often meet some bad things. At that point, we should fight back immediately. We should overcome difficulties by ourselves instead of waiting for others to rescue us. We should try to face the life bravely like David.

Nowadays, there are many people becoming rich whilst others are poor and lives in terrible conditions. They tried their best to survive, but we didn't know. We even can't believe that someone would behave in that way to others. When we have delicious food, they maybe have nothing to eat. When we have a rest, they maybe still work. However, some of us are not jealous of our present lives. They are used to wasting it. I think we should prevent their bad behaviours. Many people are very cruel today. They don't know how to treat others with kindness. They are selfish and only think themselves. I think we should devote some money and some clothes to the poor to make the world harmony.

From the story of David Copperfiled, I realize we shouldn't be afraid of difficulties, everything will be solved by our courage. We should try our best to help others who are in trouble.

Go through many bitter times, David won much,not only the happy life, but also the rich experience.

When I saw David was bullyed by Mr Murdstone, who his mother married, I was full of anger .If I had met the cruel man, I wanted to beat him heavily. When David’s mother died and he was forced to work at a warehouse ,I was so sad that I wanted to cry. How poor David was!

Luckily, every cloud has a silver lining. David found his great aunt, Miss Betsey Trotwood, and lived a happier life with her. I felt better when I read by here.

I liked the little David because of his bravery and being full of hope. In his opinion, everything would be well even when his money was stolen. All of us needed this spirit. If we did that, our life would be colourful and the trouble would be little.

David went to work at a law firm where he met Uriah Heep, who caused many problems, and Agnes, who became a good friend. I admired their friendship. After all, a friend in need is a friend indeed.After then, David married a beautiful young woman. Sadly, she died, but in time David became a successful writer and married Agnes.

Whenever we met trouble, we should be optimistic. Remember, time will cure everything.

If David didn’t have so many excellent personalities, this story wouldn’t be so attractive. David had brought much spirit wealth to me .From the book, I knew that, “Never give up and go on” .

Once David copperfield had a happy life. He lived with his mother and their house keeper Peggotty. They loved him  and protected him. But everything had changed when his mother married Murdstone. Mr Murdstone is a cruel and terrible man. He treated David badly and he ordered Davids mother around. Mr Murdstone was always gripping a thin cane and shouted at David “You are a bad boy! “ David wanted to get his mother on her own and save himself, but he had no ideas. David was sent to a boring school and his mother and his young brother died. David was very sad but what’s worse, he was forced to work at a warehouse. The work was very tiring.

Luckily, he found his great-aunt, Miss Betsey Trotwood, and lived a happier life with her. David went to work at a law film where he met Uriah Heep, who caused many problems, and Agnes , who became a good friend. David resolved the problems caused by Heep and married a beautiful young woman. Sadly, she died, but in time David became a successful writer and married Agnes. We can imagine that David will have a happy family.

As far as I am concerned, David is very brave and optimistic .I feel sympathy for him but at the same time I has been inspired by him. We all can face difficulties in our lives. Something is very terrible and sudden. Struggling against these hard problems ,we may feel hopeless but we can’t be beaten by them.  We should believe that everything can be better in the future, as the saying goes: When God close the door at the same time he will open the window for you! Please never give up! Come on!
